Sober Living Homes
Can I afford to live here?
The answer is...how could you NOT afford to?
Aside from the emotional and social benefits of co living with others in recovery, there's just the financial aspect. Let's break it down and compare sober living with independent living...
Assume you don't work full time. You need time for meetings and self care. Say you earn a simple $10.00 an hour. Very do able even working retail at Dollar General or McDonald's or Harbor Freight! Many places pay more but let's just assume you just do 30 hours a week at $10 an hour. That's very conservative. If you got more, you could possibly afford a vehicle or have funds to save. But here's the bare minimum calculated out for you.
Sober living supplies towels, linens, furniture, dishes, and everything you need to start out fresh and new. You can rest knowing your expenses can be paid and you will never be hungry!

There aren't deposits & the rent/utilities and two meals a day are covered so you can spend more time concentrating
on your new sober life!

Keep in mind that you'll have to pay deposits for your utilities as well. That's a lot up front to deal with.

You'll also need furniture, dishes, towels, linens and depending on the rental you might also need appliances!

That's A LOT to have to deal with when you're newly sober.
